Maquina Verde Antiguo Oscuro

Maquina Verde is an independent stoner rock band, which I have the pleasure to be working with. They have released two albums so far and perform very often at my hometown. They have performed in some important rock concerts in Chile and have also participated of independent recordings of new bands on the scene of stoner and psychodelic rock at national degree.

This particular video "Antiguo oscuro" (video number three) was edited and recorded on studio for a livestream presentation on Sonido Naciona, an online radio) The video was made by my hand and my premature skills with adobe premier, at that particular time. I am very happy to introduce you to this band. I am also adding other personal live recordings, which sound amazing. Feel free to look them up on youtube, because there are a lot of materials. I personally advice you to listen to Stoned Paranoia, Luna, Cae el Cielo, trip to heaven, and nuevas rutas. CHeers!!!!!

Cadillac Diablo - Rockabilly surfing from Valdivia, Chile.

Cadillac Diablo is local rockabilly surfing band. They are from my town, Valdivia, Chile. I met them while partying at a rock concert. Later on we would meet again and introduce myself as an amateur camara man. Time has passed and we are sorta working together, they play and I record. I love the fact that they turn up crowds and shake them to live up moshs. Their music is simple and lovely, it goes straight to your vein and let you roll through the night.
I am adding my personal live recordings, please do not mind on talking about sound quality, because I am not a PRO, I merely own a Sony Handycam, proper light and acoustic is often a huge disadvantage to my magic. Even though, check them up, they'll rock your body ;)

Sumo: Obras Cumbres.

Some of my friends said: see you around. They have not appeared yet. I wonder where the hell are they? It's quite funny. Nostalgic times always brings that necessity for rock, that music which may inspire you to believe in your imaginary paralelled universes. In one of them, I know man revolves around hemp. By the way, " Industial hemp" labelled events are exploding into public on the whereabouts of Iowa. I got a friend screaming: nobody can prohibite my Mary.
Talking about pot means refering to Luca Prodan somehow. Even though he probably believed in weed as step drug into a spyral of exhistential wars. Prodan found peace in music feeding on Heroine, paradogically the name of one of his most demential songs. On the other hand, when the party is down I would play a couple of other songs and party would mosh out my window. For example: Debede, Mejor no hablar de ciertas cosas, La rubia tarada....and so on. And there
are times when reggae appears too, plenty of times by the way, you got: Peace and love, Regtest.... I can clearly say Sumo is a band found somewhere among Pink Floyd, The Clash, Rolling Stone and The Beatles as well. I think that's a pretty fucking good reason to listen the band, over and over again. Pot would bring about Sumo and then would bring about Datura. That's heaven in my pilgrimage to the cosmos, that fuel ignites me to scream: Don't know what to wish for, just want it now!

Taste the Blackwitch Pudding

Long time no see folks,  I know it's been 2 fuking years...I must say I got lost somewhere else but I plan to get back here and find music for me and you. I have been listening a couple of bands lately, and I'm looking forward to post them in the coming days. This is one right here comes from Portland, Oregon. They seem to be pretty well trained in the dark arts of doom and witchery, these three hollowed soul searchers have a simple path ahead.... the riffs must be heavy and the smoke must be heavier.

I must admit that I haven't been able to gather much information about them, maybe because I rushed myself into posting. The album was forged at Toadhouse Studio, an established sonic proving ground that has puked out jewels such as Red Fang, White Orange, and Norska. The most important feedback I can provide you is that Mixing, mastering, and final touches were handled by the legendary "Billy Anderson", well known for his work with The Melvins, OM, Agalloch, Blood Ceremony, Neurosis, Sleep, Weedeater, and many, many more. Precisely is  the closeness with Sleep, Weedeater and The Melvins what charmed me at first, I kept in chewing and said: Yes!! I can fucking hear it, but do not make mistakes, Blackwitch Pudding is gem on his own.

Good listening brain surfer fellows!

Link Wray - Rumble! The Best of Link Wray

Hey look I'm back =) back to lame humour and posts jeje. Well I been like listening music again, since I'm kinda bored about what's on my computer and this time I went to the roots to find out an amazing guitar player I had no idea about... Link Wray, he ain't that famous either, at least not a mainstream artist, but lots of people are quoting him as a pionner to many other bands such as Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin... so I said: Really? Why not? And yes, I love instrumental shit and it's crazy that even in the 50's someone was doing so good as Link Wray did it, YES BROTHERS he is the KING of the guitar =)

I leave to you a huge Album, with most of his HITS, but Watch OUT, Link Wray is got many albums and some of them are more blues centered than others and he even dare to sing, vocals is not his strong side anyway. Take care you all, hugs form CHILE.
